Global Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow

Alessandro Mulieri is a Global Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow at University of Pennsylvania and Ca’ Foscari University in Venice as well as a Research Associate at KU Leuven. He was trained in Intellectual History, Political Science and Philosophy at University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’, The London School of Economics and the KU Leuven. He was previously a Senior Research Fellow at KU Leuven and has held visiting research and teaching positions at Columbia University, University of Amsterdam, the Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Sciences po), Humboldt Universiteit in Berlin, University of Strasbourg and American University of Rome. His research focuses on the history of political thought, with a specialization in late Medieval and early modern political thought, as well as early-20th political philosophy. He has co-edited Marsilius of Padua between History, Politics and Philosophy (Brepols, forthcoming 2023) and Radical Republicanism in Early Modern Europe (Brill, forthcoming 2023). His work has appeared in History of Political Thought, the British Journal for the History of Philosophy, Intellectual History Review, Storia e Politica, History of European Ideas and European Journal of Political Theory, among others.
