Research Awards in Italian Studies!

Research funds for projects in any field related to Italian Studies are an important resource provided by the Center for Italian Studies to students and faculty at the University of Pennsylvania to support research in Italy.

This year, Salvatori Research Awards (/resources/salvatori) went to graduate students Sophie Crawford-Brown (Archaeology); Ariel Genadt (Architecture); Andrew Korn (Italian); Marco Lepore (Italian), and Alessandra Mirra (Italian). Faculty recipients of the award are Stefania Benini (Italian) and Eva Del Soldato (Italian).

The Amici Prize for Undergraduate Research in Italian Studies (/resources/amici) was awarded to Katie Critelli (Biological Basis of Behavior Major).

Congratulations! We are looking forward to hearing everybody present the results of their research in the next academic year.
