The Center for Italian Studies and the Music Department announce a series of informal lecture/discussions on opera organized by Mauro Calcagno (Associate Professor of Music History and Italian Studies) and Lily Kass (Ph.D. candidate in Music History). The Opera Workshops will be held one Friday each month, January 30th, February 13, March 20, and April 10, at 12pm (light refreshments provided). Open to the Penn community as well as other institutions in the area, these informal meetings offer the opportunity to present and hear work-in-progress around a seminar table.
