Carla Locatelli spent Thanksgiving Week in Vienna for the National coordinators’ Meeting of ASEA-UNINET (Asian European Academic University Network), an academic network aiming at promoting the internationalization of education and research. ASEA-UNINET was founded in 1994 by universities from Austria, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, and today it comprises more than 80 universities from 19 different countries. During the 15th Plenary Meeting, held in Bali, Indonesia in February 2016, Carla Locatelli was elected President of the Association. Her term will last for two years. The November 2016 meeting discussed the Erasmus+ Program that supports education and training across Europe and the world.
