Isabella Szpigiel C’19 in Ravenna!

Isabella Szpigiel, who earned this summer her B.A. in Psychology and the Minors in Theatre Arts and Consumer Psychology (attending last spring ITAL180, Italian Conversation), travelled to Italy in June and July thanks to the Amici Prize 2019, awarded by the Center for Italian Studies. Enjoy her wonderful report here! Isabella was in Ravenna to collaborate with the Teatro delle Albe, the distinguished theatre company directed by Marco Martinelli and Ermanna Montanari, who visited Penn in February. Within the Ravenna Festival, she participated in the Albe's Cantiere Dante, in particular in the preparations of Purgatorio: Public Call for Dante’s Alighieri Divina Commedia. Prof. Calcagno and Del Soldato visited her on June 25-26. Congratulations, Isabella!
