Nicolo Moscatelli

Nicolò Moscatelli graduated summa cum laude at the University of Siena's Literature department in the academic year 2007-2008, with a thesis on Francis Scott Fitzgerald. He earned his M.A. there (also summa cum laude) in 2010-2011, writing about Carlo Emilio Gadda's Eros e Priapo and analyzing both the published version and the unpublished original redaction of the book on Gadda's autographs.

His interests include fantastic, erotic and marginal literature of the 20th century, irrationalism, myth and magic, and the connections between Italian writers and a broader European context, in an attempt to go beyond a narrowly nationalistic idea of literature and culture.
